Kelli Bogue, Au.D.

Nothing drives audiologist Dr. Kelli Bogue more than helping people hear their family and friends, stay active with what they love to do, and reduce their risks of health problems that can go hand in hand with hearing loss.

Providing audiological care in the clinic she co-founded with her husband, Tyler, means Dr. Bogue can always ensure her patients receive a treatment plan that’s tailored to individual needs; based on best practices; and delivered in a warm, inviting environment.

Dr. Bogue’s interest in health care started early and grew strong. After learning about speech-language pathology and eventually audiology, she earned a bachelor’s degree in communicative sciences and disorders from Michigan State University and Doctor of Audiology degree from Ohio University.

Her diverse experience also includes a residency at the Dayton VA Medical Center, along with service at various clinics, and a tenure with a major hearing aid manufacturer. It all comes down to changing lives, and building connections through the power of better hearing.

“I love collaborating with patients to determine what course of treatment is going to meet their needs,” shares Dr. Bogue, who is also a fellow with both the American Academy of Audiology, the Academy of Doctors of Audiology, and a member of the Michigan Audiology Coalition. “It is truly a gift to be able to form long-lasting relationships with patients, who become friends.”

Tyler Bogue

For Community Hearing Center co-owner and front-office administrator Tyler Bogue, independence plays a big role in the joy he feels at work — whether seeing the sense of independence patients feel with improved hearing, or being able to operate an independent audiology practice with his wife and business partner, Dr. Kelli Bogue.

“We are able to make our own decisions,” shares Tyler, “on how best to serve our community and patients.”A 2014 summa cum laude graduate of Monroe County Community College, Tyler uses his longtime experience in customer care and information technology, to help provide the highest level of service to everyone who walks through the business’s doors.

What does he love most about his career? Having the whole family at work every day — including the couple’s daughter, Dylan, and their dog, Belle — and witnessing the sheer excitement patients feel when hearing the things they love again.
